Estonian Lace shawl

I needed a birthday gift for a teacher's assistent in my younger sons kindergarten. Almost started with another Swallowtail, when a new Estonian craft magazine Käsitöö was released. There is a beautiful lace pattern in it! The author of this pattern is Aet aka Asti in Ravelry.

I love this pattern, it's beautiful, it's quite easy, although with lots of yarnovers and deacreases. The shawl turned out beautiful (but then again, what lace shawl wouldn't) and the reciever was happy.

Yarn: Novita Florica 100% wool 50g=175m; used almost 200g
Needles: no 3.00 mm Addi bamboo circles
Notes: the shawl measures 200 x 100 cm. Thank god I had no more time to knit, it would have been down to knees! In the future I have to consider that this yarn gives so much extra size when blocked wet.

Eesti keeles loe siit.

Väga kaunis rätik :) Mul on hea meel, et muster meeldis :)

kiz, paraku olen jube laisk võõrkeelset blogi täitma, sest kirjutav keel on ikka täiesti roostes :)
